For years, he had heated the sauna for family and friends, and everyone always praised his steady hand and gentle steam. But experience sometimes makes you rely too much on old habits.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was Friday evening when Ieva brought the news:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cTomorrow, J\u0101nis and Maija are coming over. They\u2019re crazy about sauna \u2014 they want to finally try it with \u2018the famous Albert\u2019.\u201d <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Albert smiled.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAll right, let\u2019s heat it up.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He went out to the shed and pulled out last year\u2019s birch whisks, brought over by a neighbor. They still looked pretty decent, although the leaves had become a bit brittle. He set them aside to soak before the sauna session.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ieva came closer, glanced at the whisks, and quietly said:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMaybe you should get fresh ones? You were planning to order them from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.istaspirtslietas.lv\/en\">www.istaspirtslietas.lv<\/a>. remember?\u201d <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Albert nodded confidently.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThey\u2019ll do. I\u2019ll soak them before we start \u2014 they\u2019ll come back to life like new.\u201d <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Saturday, the sauna heated up nicely. The guests chatted happily, and as promised, Albert soaked the whisks in warm water right before the session. But as he picked up the first one, it crumbled right in his hands. The leaves fell off, the twigs snapped \u2014 the whisk lost its power with the very first stroke.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Albert just smiled and reached for the ones he had bought earlier.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The evening still turned out great \u2014 plenty of laughter and good company \u2014 but the whisk story stayed with both Albert and Ieva as another lesson learned.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Later, while sitting with a cup of tea, Albert looked at Ieva seriously.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYou know, it\u2019s funny how little things make all the difference. One bad whisk can ruin a perfectly good sauna. I won\u2019t make that mistake again.\u201d  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He opened his laptop and ordered fresh birch and oak whisks from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.istaspirtslietas.lv\/en\">www.istaspirtslietas.lv<\/a>. This time, without hesitation. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThese will be for the next sauna. Good things should be prepared in advance.\u201d <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ieva smiled and leaned on his shoulder:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd for us too.
